Course Description

Sitting close to the Home of Golf, Drumoig is an 18-hole championship style course that boasts many challenging features.

Regarded as one of the best inland venues in the region, Drumoig is full of interesting holes, perhaps most notably, the ninth, tenth and 11th holes, which are described by the club as making up ‘quite possibly the best turn in Scottish golf’.

An exceptional run of holes that are played around water, the club also has a new finishing hole.

The 18th is surrounded by water with the hotel sitting above you on the hill. If you stray offline here, you’re in big trouble.

With the course always prepared to the highest of standards, it provides an excellent challenge for the more advanced golfer from the back tees, while the front tees mean the amateur golfer can enjoy their game as well as a stern test of ability.

The views from various parts of the layout are spectacular, too, as they look across St Andrews Bay, the River Tay and Carnoustie.

As mentioned previously, you can also find the Drumoig Golf Hotel above the 18th hole.
