Course Description

The James Braid-designed Hilton Park is a popular destination for visiting parties who can enjoy the benefits of two immaculately maintained 18-hole courses, The Hilton and the Allander. Situated only 25 minutes north of Glasgow the courses enjoy spectacular views towards Loch Lomond and the Trossachs.The Hilton is 5,939 yards, has a Par of 70 with the signature hole Par-3 17th aptly named ‘Muckle Drap’. Played from an elevated tee to a well bunkered green, with a burn around the front edge of the green some 200 feet below, this is a daunting shot even for an experienced golfer. The tee shot can vary from a 9 iron to a driver depending on the wind. The Allander is a shorter course of 5,483 yards and has a Par of 69. The signature hole on the Allander is the 5th, Par-4, 372 yards, named ‘Burncrooks’. The hole is a slight dog leg right played to a sunken two tiered green, with the Allander burn on three sides, all out of bounds, formidable to say the least.Visiting parties have the option to play one round or a two-round morning and afternoon outing played over both courses. Visitors are openly welcomed at Hilton Park and you can expect a relaxed end to your day in the comfortable surroundings of the clubhouse.
