Course Description

In the Staffordshire countryside lies the exceptionally well-maintained golf course at Barlaston, the ideal place for your next society outing.

Within an hour's drive of both Manchester and Birmingham, Barlaston is easily accessible just off the M6 near Stoke-on-Trent and has welcomed society groups from across the country for decades. This is due to the course's fine array of top quality golf holes.

This includes the par-4 third, where water right along the left-hand side of the fairway means it's a tricky tee shot, although those who can carry the ball 275 yards plus shouldn't have a problem. The sixth, meanwhile, is a 160-yard par-3 that plays longer due to an elevated split level green. With out of bounds to the left, the green is protected by a sloping face, with bunkers to the right and a large tree. If there's a hole you need to be accurate on, it's this one. The par-4 seventh is well worth its stroke index of one, with a swamp in front of the green, while the final par-3 on the course, the 16th, is fraught with danger with a tee shot over water onto a two-tier green protected by four bunkers all to the front of it.
