Course Description
LOCATED in a picturesque village, with which it shares its name in Dumfries & Galloway, Thornhill started out in 1893 as a nine-hole course. It was extended to 18 holes in 1979 and hasn't looked back since, with upgrades to the bunkers and drainage only enhancing it. Combining the best of parkland and heathland, the course is a superb test. The level terrain and views make for a great walk, however, buggies are available if required. The recent clubhouse upgrade, plus on-site accommodation, make this the perfect spot for a society outing.
